Hi, I’m Taryn. I’m an Occupational Therapist with more than 20 years of experience working with children and families.
Originally from South Africa, I now live in Utah with my husband and our four children.

What drew me to sensory support

Listening to the patterns behind everyday challenges.
Many of the children and families I’ve supported have experienced challenges with sensory processing and emotional regulation. That experience deepened my interest in helping families build a clearer picture of their child’s sensory needs and identify where support may be useful.
It also shaped the way I approach recommendations: they need to be practical, individualised and relevant to the child’s everyday life.
Why I created Your Sensory Kit
A more accessible way to take a considered next step.
I know how frustrating long waiting lists for testing can be. I created Your Sensory Kit to offer families a convenient option for exploring their child’s sensory needs and accessing appropriate guidance and support sooner.
Through online sensory assessment and consultation, we identify areas where support may be helpful and provide individualised recommendations for sensory tools and strategies that fit the child’s specific needs.

When I’m not working, I love travelling, hiking, being in the ocean, baking and spending time with my family.
I’m excited to connect with families and help make the sensory journey a little easier.
